It's a gentle song that's a great service opener. It's a song of expectation and surrender and is also, really, a call to worship. The style is a little different than normal and is in 6/8 time. The chorus is very expressive and hard-hitting. This is a great song to try out a 6/8 strum pattern and feel. Check out the free charts in Nashville Numbers, in the key of B, and in the key of G. In fact, I recommend playing this using a capo and G chord family chords.

God So Loved Chart | God So Loved Chords Jun 22, 2021: "God So Loved" by We the Kingdom is a really fun song that's great for Easter or for any service opening if you like to start with energy. Lyrically, it's built around John 3:16 and it's pretty straight forward. Playing it is easy as well, and there aren't any curve balls. If you're familiar with the song, try using the number chart to learn what the key of G looks like with Nashville Numbers as you play along.

Death Was Arrested Chart | Death Was Arrested Chords Jun 8, 2021: "Death was Arrested" by North Point Worship is a fantastic Easter themed worship song. The Lord is My Salvation | Quarantine Cover | Shane and Shane Apr 13, 2021: This is a cover of the modern hymn, "The Lord is My Salvation" by Shane and Shane. The song was actually written by Keith and Kristyn Getty. The lyrics are poetic and include the power chorus "Who is like the Lord our God? Strong to save, faithful in love. My debt is paid and the vict'ry won. The Lord is my salvation" Thanks to my friends who helped me out!

Stand in Your Love | Quarantine Cover | Josh Baldwin Mar 22, 2021: This is still one of my favorite worship songs, musically, since it's so unique (by Josh Baldwin). Chord-wise, it uses a lot of "passing chords" so you'll get to practice playing a chord on the 4th beat of a measure. Passing chords, with a slower paced song creates a unique effect that you'll hear on the chorus. Thanks again to my friends for joining me on this cover!

One True God | Quarantine Cover | Steven Curtis Chapman Mar 16, 2021: This is one of my favorite Steven Curtis Chapman worship songs. A few years ago he released "Worship and Believe" which is a great album with several congregational worship songs. I once again joined with some friends to create this "quarantine cover".
