A cut capo is an extremely useful tool, especially for songs in the key of E. This capo is cut off to only press down certain strings on the guitar. The result is a sound similar to DADGAD tuning which allows for very easy chord shapes.

Strum right along with this classic Hillsong United song. This song uses the C chord family and also uses the 16th pushed strum pattern. Make sure you are comfortable with both before you go for it!

After reading the reviews on this, I couldn't help but try it out and see what I thought. Over the years, I've seen all sorts of capos. The trick with the capo is to have it put the correct, even pressure on the strings, to be quickly accessible, and finally, easy to apply. Of course there is something to be said for looks.
